The Fashion apparel brand "Gucci" is planning to make digital assets a payment method in the United States by the end of the summer.
Recently, Gucci has announced that it will begin accepting top cryptocurrencies as a method of payment. Gucci will be accepting crypto payments in more than 10 digital currencies.
As per their plans, crypto payments will be made using a QR code or an NFC reader that will be available in these stores. The customers will be able to make payments for the products, they purchase using their smartphones.
Crypto payments are said to be rolled out at the end of this summer across various retail stores. Initially, this will be available only at a few selected stores.
Some of the stores to begin accepting payments in cryptocurrencies include Wooster Street in New York, Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, Miami Design District, Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, and The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas.
